21st.
- Congratulations to our Undergraduate Astronomy majors who
will be inducted into the Sigma Pi Sigma Physics Honor
Society on April 20th. The inductees include: Shannon
Hicks, Ryan Orvedahl, and Lizhen Tan, all of whom are

- Prof. Metchev is co-organizing a splinter session
on Clouds
in Brown Dwarfs and Giant Planets during
the 17th Cambridge
Workshop on Cool Stars, Stellar Systems, and the Sun in
Barcelona, June 24-29, 2012. The splinter session will
feature the latest developments in the study of weather on
exoplanetary worlds.
